This photo was taken in the Alps-maritimes-Côte d’Azur region located in Provence in France’s southeast corner.
There’s a labyrinth of small villages as you go into the countryside off the Mediteranean coast. The village buildings were lit up for Christmas.
Notice the wrought iron bell tower lit up. Very festive.

CEZANNE THROUGH THE LENS
My recent presentation at the Coral Gables Public Library on November 5th was titled Cezanne Through the Lens, and featured my images of Aix-en-Provence, a sister city of Coral Gables, and the 2025 Year of Cézanne that took place in Aix-en-Provence this past summer. ARTISTS IN THE CLOISTERS

On Sunday, December 6th, Coconut Grove’s architectural charm takes center stage as The Villagers present their 40th Annual Holiday House Tour: A Stroll in the Grove. I’ll be displaying and selling my photographs and photo cards/notecards.
THE FRENCH MARKET
Come join me on Sunday, December 14th at the 2025 French Market in South Pointe Park, an outdoor market that will feature French-inspired foods, artisanal goods, and other crafts. Of course I'll be there!
