Lavender in bloom!
Lavender blooming in the summertime in Provence is always special and unique! There was a wonderful scent or perfume in the air!
This stone house is a cross between a small house, cottage, and shed, and is called a cabanon in French. I really liked the contrast of colors of the stone cabanon and the lavender. I also was drawn to the patterns of the barrel tile and stone walls of the house.
Once again, there was the typical Provençal blue shutters. The olive tree to the left of the cabanon and blue sky made the photo complete.
