The fall has arrived and it’s time for autumn and colorful leaves.
I took the scenic Highway 64 route in western North Carolina from Franklin to Highlands. The road is winding and narrow. The Cullasaja River gorge offers a spectacular drive with several waterfalls.

Please mark your calendar for Wednesday, November 5th from 6:00–8:00 pm. I will be making a presentation about Aix-en-Provence and the Year of Cézanne at the Coral Gables Library. This past summer I photographed four different shows in Aix celebrating Cézanne.
The presentation will also feature photos that I’ve taken in Aix that document architectural details (doorways, door knockers, fountains), hotel particuliers, markets, flowers, lavender fields, and Mt. Saint Victoire.
