August 10–October 7, 2023
This exhibition showcases the twenty-five finalist works in the photography contest Capture Coral Gables 2023.

I'm pleased to have two of my images selected for the 2023 Capture Coral Gables exhibition, in which photo-based artists from different backgrounds, generations, and styles were invited to submit work in one of the following categories: Coral Gables Historical Architecture & Public Art, Urban Life, What Makes Coral Gables Beautiful?, and Coral Gables—At Work. In addition to the four main categories, there are three special categories: Florida on Film, AI Memories of Coral Gables, and The True Coral Gables (Cellphone photography).

A jury of local photography experts have selected a winner for each category, as well as a Grand Prize. The public is also invited to vote online for the People’s Choice Award, which will continue online throughout the exhibition. The winner in this category will be announced at a closing reception during the Museum’s Gallery Night on Friday, October 7th. On that occasion, the newly incorporated Acquisition Prize will be announced, with the work being accessioned into the Coral Gables Museum’s collection.
